A new day...

Yesterday did not go so well... I started off doing loads and loads of laundry, wrapping a few items that sold on Amazon, and in general, ready to kick some tail. Around lunchtime, that motivation faded. I was also babysitting my three little brothers all day yesterday, maybe that had something to do with my sudden exhaustion...

J (13) started the morning off badly. He ran off with the mouth to my mom, and got himself grounded from all electronics. Then, he proceeded to throw a fit because he couldn't listen to his music on his laptop while he did school... It was actually quite funny, and it was all we could do not to laugh as he rattled off the reasons he was so mad and life was not fair. My sister, A (10) was going to take the laptop with her, as she was going with mom to run some errands and have a "girl's day." Oh how I miss the girl's days... But, back to the laptop... as my sister was taking it out to the car, J shouted at my mom - "YOU'LL NEVER FIND THE MUSIC ON IT BECAUSE IT'S UNDER THE "POOP FILE"..." What is a "poop file," you ask? I'm not sure, but A found it, and evidently had a lovely day listening to music, completing her school, and having fun with mom...:) Meanwhile, I was left here with J, C (5), and Q (3), and let me express to you how much J needs that poop file... If he doesn't have it, he needs constant attention. He will talk, and talk, and talk, oh... and talk!! He gets so bored without his music, Facebook, phone and Nintendo, so he comes and talks to me all day! (Which, I actually love, but boy is it exhausting!) C also talks non stop, and I am used to that, but when I have them both following me while I'm trying to put away laundry or do any of the other tasks I set out to accomplish, it wears me out!

I made pork chops, potatoes and green bean bake for dinner. It's my grandma's recipe, and we love it! I think I may have put too much pepper in last night... No matter, my dad and the boys ate the whole pan and said it was really good.:) Maybe I just have wimpy tastebuds.

After dinner, I folded some more laundry, talked to a good friend on the phone, and then set off to knit some more. I am working on Alan Dart's Bob the Builder doll. This will be for Q, and I am trying to complete it by April 6 (his birthday). I completed a hand and arm last night, and I'll be working on the other hand and arm this evening. It really is coming together quite nice! The hand is so cute with it's three fingers, and thumb. I asked Q what it was when I had it all sewn up, and he knew immediately that it was a hand, so he gave it a high five! :) I am so excited to finish this project. I've had so much fun knitting it, and I can't wait to see what it looks like completed. I am a little nervous about sewing him up though... Any tips would be greatly appreciated.

Now that I've finished my coffee, I'd better get on with the day. Today's projects?
